Garret, Master Stylist/Educational Director

Garret has been fascinated by the constant evolution of the salon industry since he began his career as a hair stylist in 1997.  He held his first position at the internationally renowned TONI&GUY in Southern California. Driven by a tireless passion for self-improvement and hard work, Garret excelled quickly and was appointed Educational Director and Advanced Academy Instructor.  He moved on to work as a Stylist and Educator in Beverly Hills at Gavert Atelier and Tom Brophy salons. Since 2004, Garret has also traveled throughout North America conducting haircutting seminars and working as a platform artist with hair care company, KMS California.

After building a name for himself in Los Angeles, Garret moved to San Francisco in 2008 to shape the signature Cutting Education Program that is the backbone for Vim and Vigor. To this day, Garret continues to educate himself in the field, pushing himself forward as he serves as a mentor for stylists in training. Garret specializes in working with the natural texture of his clients' hair and creating hairstyles that are personalized, versatile and low maintenance.
